Some patients have shown a drastic improvement in their conditions by reaching a seizure-free status. The results were shown by 9 patients out of the total 13 in the group. The researchers are keen to spread this information to help people with such symptoms.
The key scholar behind this project, Elizabeth A. Thiele, M.D, Ph.D., stresses the advantages of using this CBD derived drug that has proved to be a miracle in many people’s lives. She expresses her opinion that it has been tried and tested and is safe for human consumption. It has not shown any adverse side effect so far, she says.
However, one must be forewarned that this drug cannot be taken without the proper prescription of a physician. This is because the symptoms vary from person to person and the dosage required is different too. It may cause hazardous side effects if the dosage self-prescribed it too high.
Also, an important fact to be kept in mind is that the pharmaceutical company undertaking the venture of manufacturing this drug must be able to precisely replicate its composition because even the slightest change in the ration of the THC to the CBD can cause adverse effects such as the seizures increasing or coming back altogether.
